I recently had the pleasure of running a workshop for photographers in Invercargill as part of the Photographic Society of  New Zealands National Conference.  It was great I thoroughly enjoyed it.  After the workshop I received a number of emails asking if I would run another workshop, so I have decided to run a two day workshop based from the picturesque Kakanui .

If you follow me on facebook then you already have the inside scoop on this one.  I had the pleasure of photographing the very unique wedding of Bridget & Aaron.   Well it has been featured on the beautiful Magnolia Rouge blog, if you havn’t checked out their blog then you are missing out.  The fabulous flowers were by Ambrosia designer florist.  The dress was a Collette Dinnigan and the reception was held at the fabulous Masonic Lodge.  All the styling was done by the Bride and her wedding party a very clever and talented bunch.

I loved this wedding, I will do a longer blog post at a later date but thought I haven’t blogged in ages so tonight is the night for just one.

I have two girls and I love the special bond they have, this little one is lucky to have such a dotting big sister.  They are both just too cute!!

Working with Newborns is such a pleasure, you have to  be very calm relaxed and extremely patient. I am loving the new studio for shooting newborns. Yes yes I know I still have to post photos of my studio!! Enjoy.

For me weddings days are about many things  commitment, emotion, family & friends but there also needs to be a large serving of fun dished up  on the day as well.  I promised a longer post from this wedding but I just kept coming back to this moment and it still makes me laugh.  You guys are some of the funniest people I have photographed in a while!!

Helen and James have such a strong and gentle love and respect for each other, I felt very privileged to be there to record their day.  Make up by the talented Suzie.  And the venue is the gorgeous Te Kiteroa Lodge in Waimate.
