Autumn leaves

Wow it has been a while since I blogged and I have a lot to blog about, my studio is opening soon,  I have been ordering huge canvases and laying flooring and buying the most gorgeous newborn hats and petty skirts.  Look out next week on the blog for a sneak peek of the studio before it opens.  But today I am blogging about a shoot with a great group of people who were great sports and made the best out of a very chilly and wet day.

Really, really loving these. I grew up with that bridge and it will always say home, to me. Last year some friends and I nipped up to Wellington for the day to see the Monet exhibition at Te Papa. To my surprise (never having been a great art history student) there was that bridge in a Monet work….not the exact same one, but he had a fascination with those Asian style bridges. Stared at it for ages and felt quite homesick for Oamaru (which I haven’t done in 20-odd years). You forget how pretty it was, this reminded me. Cheers xxxxxx
