Photo a day day 7:
Thursday, January 7th, 2010I say this all the time when I talk about Kakanui, but I truly believe we are lucky to have our family home here. So tonight because I was so late doing my photo a day and the kids where all tucked up in bed I snuck out to find inspiration for my photo a day. Well sometimes you can’t tell a story with just one picture so here are 4. If you want to see it in colour you will just have to visit (or flick back through my blog). Hope you enjoy. Sorry their are no cute children. I’m sure they will return to my blog tomorrow.
Dance
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010Photo a day – Day 6: We went to the beach late today as we all got a little sunburnt yesterday. I wanted some shots of my girls dancing on the beach. I think we are so lucky to have this gorgeous beach at the bottom of our hill. I got one frame with them together then they were gone off in all directions.
Thanks Barbies I owe you one!
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010Well I had a small panic then for a second, kids all in bed and I haven’t done my photo of the day. So, I went for a wander around the yard. What do I find but the barbies heading off to a party at our fire pit (that’s the bokeh in the background) which is great for parties and toasting marshmallows. They kindly stopped for a second and let me take a quick pic before they headed off. I had to laugh, this is what happens when our boys play with the girls you get barbies in ball dresses and dump trucks – excellent!!
Gangsters in the Grass
Monday, January 4th, 2010Photo a day
Sunday, January 3rd, 2010Well its January and a group of us photographers try and do a photo a day. So I have started and my subjects are my five children. I am really bad at new years resolutions so here’s hoping I stick with this one. If you are a blog follower but never comment please do as I will need some motivation to keep this going for a month. So here are the first 2 days photos. I hope you enjoy.
